04 Jvlu-Fumin-Changle Block

A stone's throw from the exhibition venue

this is a block full of western-style, enchanting boutiques, restaurants, churches and European-style architecture. Go and be surprised.

05 Former French Concession

Located in Huangpu and Xuhui Districts, Former French Concession in Shanghai is one of the four major French concessions in China

In 1920, the first batch of garden villas began springing up on Rue Lafayette (now Middle Fuxing Road) south of French Garden (now Fuxing Park). With quite a few important military and governmental officials, entrepreneurs, professionals and artists moving in, the area was turned into a place of convergence for the upper class. Shanghai French Concession is so charming because it carries on the elegance of bygone days, instead of fading out with the passage of time. Fashion boutiques, dessert shops, characteristic restaurants line up on both sides of the street, brimming with stories, sentiments and vitality.

06 Xin Tian Di

Located in the center of Shanghai south of Middle Huaihai Road

Xin Tian Di is transformed from local Shikumen Building, which appeared in the mid-1800's. It has become an urban attraction for both international tourists and young local citizens by preserving the historical and cultural legacies of the city. You can enjoy the afternoon tea in the day and flit around bars at night to experience the charm of Shanghai. Theme restaurants, international gallery, bars and cafes and boutiques are scattered along the pedestrian street. You will feel like going back to old Shanghai in 1930’s in between all these antique brick walls and in front of the heavy black doors. However, when you walk into them, an atmosphere of modern life will embrace you.

07 The Bund

A world-famous waterfront area that is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for over a hundred years

It is on the west bank of Huangpu River winding 1.5 kilometers between Waibaidu Bridge in the north and Jin Ling Dong Road in the south and is scattered with famous buildings like Customs House, Peace Hotel, original site of HSBC Bank, etc. A total of 52 buildings represent different architectural features including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicist and the Renaissance styles. Although designed by different architects in diversified styles, the buildings stand together in great harmony. That is why the Bund is granted as “Exhibition of the World's Architecture”.

08 Lujiazui

Lying on the east bank of Huangpu River and facing the Bund

Lujiazui has become the most appealing attraction in Shanghai as the “Wall Street of China”. It is studded with over 100 high-rise buildings including landmarks like Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai International Convention Center, Shanghai World Financial Center, etc. Overlooking from the skyscapers when night falls, you will definitely be overwhelmed by the magenificent urban landscape of this modern metropolis. It’s also a great place for party and shopping. You can spend 40 RMB (6 US dollars) to hop on and off a sightseeing bus as you like, or embark on a cruise to enjoy the beauty that Huangpu River has to offer.

09 Shanghai Disneyland Park

Located in Chuansha New Town of Pudong New Area, Shanghai Disneyland Park opened in June 2016 as the first in mainland China

There are 7 theme attractions inside the park, including Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Adventure Isle, Treasure Cove, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Toy Story Land. Two themed hotels are next to the park: Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel. With so many world-debut recreational items, eye-catching performance and wonderful experience, anyone, regardless of age, can light up the magical dream in heart.
